Daniel Arsham returns with a new idea, a 500 limited edition of miniature Porsche Carrera RS, more than a year after he introduced the Crystal Eroded Porsche 911. Given that he obtained a brand-new car from his deal with Porsche, it's natural that he's coming back with a new idea involving the company.
The new sculpture, titled Eroded Carrera RS, is based on the famous 1973 Porsche RS 2.7 Touring and is part of the Future Relic collection. The series focuses primarily on technology, with casts of Polaroid cameras, clocks, telephones, keyboards, and cassette players highlighting how technologies can become obsolete swiftly in our fast-paced environment.
